Important points to be observed while Zoom Meetings

1. Join the meeting in time, so that punctuality is honored.
2. During discussion, the speaker only should have mike unmuted, else keep it in mute mode. Genrally the background sounds like TV or other household activities or passing by vehicles keep disturbing.
3. If you want to say something, then raise your hand and wait for your turn. Speak when permitted to do so. This maintains the decorum of meeting.
4. Join meetings only if it is ment for you or your area of operations. Also help other relevant persons join the meeting by shareing the information with them. This will make meetings more meaningful.
5. Keep your video always ON.

6. Always sit with paper - pen so that important points may be noted.

After all this whole exercise is for all of us.
Thanks and Regards.

4. Usage of phone calling is also necessary with the WhatsApp group usage. In the case of need one member should call 5 members and in turn they should call another 5 members. The information should be shared on WhatsApp.

5. The naming of Groups and Logo will be same as mentioned earlier Normal Guidelines.

6. In the event of discussions the group may be opened for a limited 1-2 days so that all can contribute. The group should again be restored in Admin Only mode.

All rules in Normal Guideline will remain in force. All are requested to spread this information for the awareness of all members.

Normal Guidelines

Following guidelines are meant for a healthy use of media for communications.

  • Quality is important than number of members in the Group. Be responsible while interacting. Blocking or removing members is not restricted.
  • The names of all WhatsApp Groups should start with ABSVM.
  • The WhatsApp group of Haryana should be named like ABSVM HR implying the group for Haryana state, which should be admnistered by the state president. Other state groups should be named on similar guidelines.
  • The name of WhatsApp group of  Faridabad district of Haryana should be named as ABSVM HR-FBD and should be administered by the district president.
  • WhatsApp group name and Logo should remain unalatered.
  • New WhatsApp group at a place should only be created in the case of reaching the capacity of the group and the name should be associated with a serial number, else not.
  • Apart from ABSVM groups, if you have any other groups then you may keep operating those groups as usual and their name and Logo should not be resembling ABSVM any way.
  • The number of admins in any ABSVM WhatsApp group should not exceed four or five, two from the same level and two from senior levels, one from national level. Additional admins if required should remain for short durations.
  • The capacity of WhatsApp groups being small i.e. 256, therefore the communication should be established by means of these small grpups.
  •  WhatsApp groups should be a means of communication, therefore the flow of information should be two-ways, like
National  State  district  people. Protocols must be followed.
  • Members from all age groups exist in WhatsApp groups, therefore  it is not necessary that all are equally matured, one should not react to every message, you should ignore at times. Maintain the harmony in the group communications. Keep your cool and if feel necessary, inform admin for necessary action.
  • Avoid discussions on political parties, leaders, Organizations or religion, god, any established personality, peoples’ emotions are attached and therefore leads to distaste. In compelling situations contact personally and share your point of view.
  • Only media can’t lead to reforms, therefore it is necessary to form small groups and meet often locally and work for social welfare together.
  • One must use his/her intellect while using any media and avoid sharing any thing without giving it a thought.
  • Any Vishwakarma member who is linked with the ABSVM media groups is a part of Vishwakarma family and therefore effort should be to build long term relations.
  • Other guideline for any media are as follows:
    • Give most respect to female members in the group.
    • Posts should be related to the purpose of discussion.
    • Avoid messages like Good Morning, good evening etc.
    • Avoid orthodox or blind-faith promoting messages.
    • It always better to communicate birthday, anniversaries messages personally to the person concerned, rather than sharing it in groups.
    • Lost and found messages keep circulating in the groups, therefore keep a check on this before sharing further.
    • Always have respect for others or other groups.
    • Always share a point of view which is universally acceptable. Criticism should be positive so that it is acceptable and bring about reforms in thought processes or an approach. Criticism should never become the source of dispute.
    • Our purpose is to bring together everybody in community and then maintain it.
  • Try hard to adhere to all these terms and conditions.
